Find the perimeter of the rectangle, the two sides of which are 30 millimeters long, and the other two sides are 20 millimeters long.

We know all four sides of the quadrilateral, and they are pairwise equal. Hence, the perimeter of a given quadrangle can be found by the following formula:

P = 2 * (a + b), where a and b are pairwise equal sides of the quadrilateral.

Let’s find the perimeter using the resulting formula:

P = 2 * (30 + 20) = 2 * 50 = 100 mm = 10 cm.

Answer: the perimeter of the quadrangle is 10cm.
