1) Let’s find out how long the width of this rectangle is, if we know that its width is 2/3 of its length, and the length of the rectangle is 9 cm.
9 * 2/3 = 6 cm.
2) Determine what perimeter the triangle given to us, if we found out that its width was 6 cm, and the length of the rectangle was 9 cm.
9 + 9 + 6 + 6 = 30 cm.
Or
(9 + 6) * 2 = 30 cm.
Answer: the perimeter of this triangle was 30 cm.
