Find the perimeter of the triangle ABC if AB = 13cm, BC = c see and AC = d see Make an expression and find its value when: a) c = 10 and d = 8; B) c = 5 and d = 12.
The perimeter of a triangle ABC is the sum of all its sides.
PABC = AB + BC + CA = 13 cm + c cm + d cm.
a) If c = 10 cm and d = 8 cm, then:
PABC = AB + BC + CA = 13 cm + 10 cm + 8 cm = 31 cm.
b) If c = 5 cm and d = 12 cm, then:
PABC = AB + BC + CA = 13 cm + 5 cm + 12 cm = 30 cm.
Answer: 31 cm, 30 cm.
