Find the perimeter of the triangle ABC, if AB = 2.8 cm, and BC = more than AB by 0.8 cm, but less than AC by 1.1 cm.

We find BC, knowing that BC is 0.8 cm larger than AB:
BC = 2.8 + 0.8 = 3.6 cm.
Since the BC is less than the AC by 1.1 cm, then
AC = 3.6 + 1.1 = 4.7 cm.
Now, knowing the magnitudes of all sides of the triangle, we find its perimeter as the sum of three sides:
P = AB + BC + AC = 2.8 + 3.6 + 4.7 = 11.1 cm.
