Find the perimeter of the triangle KMP, if the length of the KM side is 5cm 8mm, the MP side is 1cm 5mm longer than the KM side, but shorter by 2cm 3mm than the PK side.

The perimeter of a triangle is equal to the sum of its three sides.
1. Let’s find out what the side MP of the triangle KMP is equal to.
5 cm. 8 mm. + 1 cm.5 mm. = 58 mm. + 15 mm. = 73 millimeters.
2. Let’s define what the side PК of the triangle KMP is equal to.
73 mm. + 2 cm. 3 mm. = 73 mm. + 23 mm. = 96 millimeters.
Let’s answer the question of the problem.
3. Find the perimeter of the triangle KMP.
58 + 73 + 96 = 227 millimeters = 22 centimeters 7 millimeters.
Answer: The perimeter of the KMP triangle is twenty-two centimeters and seven millimeters.
