The perimeter of any rectangle is twice the sum of the length and width of that rectangle.
According to the condition of the problem, the length of this rectangle is 15 cm, and the width of this rectangle is 12 cm, therefore, the perimeter P of this rectangle is:
P = 2 * (15 + 12) = 2 * 27 = 54 cm.
Answer: the perimeter of this rectangle is 54 cm.
