| An isosceles triangle is a triangle in which the sides are equal, as well as the angles at the base are equal.
Since the base of this triangle refers to its lateral side as 3: 2, we express them as:
3x – the length of the base of the speaker;
2x – the length of the sides AB and BC;
3x + 2x + 2x = 35;
7x = 35;
x = 35/7 = 5;
AC = 3 5 = 15 cm;
AB = BC = 2 = 10 cm.
Answer: the base of the triangle is 15 cm, the sides are 10 cm.
