| 1. P -perimeter.
2.AB = BC + 4.
3. Considering that the sides of a parallelogram located opposite each other (opposite) are equal, its perimeter is calculated by the formula:
P = 2 (AB + BC) = 40 centimeters.
AB + BC = 20 centimeters.
4. Substitute in this expression (BC + 4) instead of AB:
2BC + 4 = 20 centimeters.
BC = 8 centimeters.
AB = 8 + 4 = 12 centimeters.
Answer: AD = BC = 8 centimeters. AB = CD = 12 centimeters.
