Find the surface area and volume of a rectangular parallelepiped, the length of which is 12 cm

Find the surface area and volume of a rectangular parallelepiped, the length of which is 12 cm, width – 7.5, and height – 10 cm

Area of a parallelepiped: S = 2 (a * b + b * c + a * c).

The volume of the parallelepiped: V = a * b * c.

a – length, b – width, c – figure height.

According to the task data, we have: a = 12 cm, b = 7.5 cm; c = 10 cm.

Area: S = 2 (12 * 7.5 + 7.5 * 10 + 12 * 10) = 2 * 285 = 570 cm2.

Volume: V = 12 * 7.5 * 10 = 900 cm3.

The answer to the problem: the area of the figure is 570 cm2; its volume is 900 cm3.
