1. Find the length of a cube face if its volume is known and equal to 125. The formula by which you can calculate the volume of a cube: V = a3, hence the edge of the cube is equal to a = ∛V.

a = ∛V = ∛125 = 5 cm.

2. Find the surface area of the cube.

S = 6 * a ^ 2 = 6 * 5 ^ 2 = 6 * 25 = 150 cm2.

Answer: The perimeter of a 125 cm3 cube is 150 cm2.
