Find the volume of a rectangular parallelepiped if its height is 12 full 7/9 cm, the length is 8 11/18 cm

Find the volume of a rectangular parallelepiped if its height is 12 full 7/9 cm, the length is 8 11/18 cm less than the height and 1 whole 23/625 times less than the width.

Solution of the task.
The volume of a rectangular parallelepiped is equal to the product of height and width by length.
The height is 12 7/9 cm = 115/9 cm.
The length is 8 11/18 cm less than the height (8 11/18 = 155/18):
115 / 9-155 / 18 = 230 / 18-155 / 18 = 75/18 cm – the length of a rectangular parallelepiped.
We also know that the length is 1 23/625 less than the width, we find the width (1 23/625 cm = 648/625 cm):
(648/625) * (75/18) = 48600/11250 = 108/25 cm – the width of the rectangular parallelepiped.
Let’s find the volume:
115/9 * 75/18 * 108/25 = 931500/4050 = 230 cm3
