Find the volume of a rectangular prism, the length of which is 12 dm, the width is 8 dm, and the height is 10 dm. Write down the formula for finding the volume. The base area of the rectangular prism is 18 cm2 and the height is 8 cm. Find the volume of the prism.

1) The volume of a rectangular prism is equal to the product of its height, width and length, that is: V = a * b * c, where a – height, b – width, c – length.

2) Then the volume of a rectangular prism is: 12 * 8 * 10 = 960 dm3.

3) This means that its volume is: 960 dm3.

Therefore our answer is 960 dm3.
