Finish the equations of chemical reactions, arrange the coefficients, determine the type of chemical reaction
Finish the equations of chemical reactions, arrange the coefficients, determine the type of chemical reaction: a) Ba + O2 b) H2 + I2 c) H2 + BiO d) Ca + HCI
a) Two chemical elements react with each other, namely barium and oxygen. As a result of this chemical reaction, barium oxide is formed. This is a compound reaction.
Ba + O2 = 2 BaO2
b) Chemical interaction of iodine and hydrogen. This reaction, like the first, proceeds according to the type of connection. We see hydrogen iodide in the reaction product.
H2 + I2 = 2 HI
c) Barium oxide and hydrogen cannot interact with each other and therefore do not enter into a chemical reaction.
H2 + BiO = no interaction occurs.
d) Calcium enters into a chemical reaction with hydrochloric acid and forms a divalent calcium chloride salt and hydrogen is released. We write the chemical reaction equation as follows:
Ca + HCl = CaCl2 + H2.
