Flora and fauna in the tundra?

Tundra with permafrost soil, cold climate, arctic deserts, wetlands is not rich in flora and fauna. Many plants find it difficult to survive in such conditions and, as a result, animals have nothing to eat. Plants growing in the tundra are pressed against the soil surface, intertwined with shoots, adapted to vegetative reproduction, because the seeds simply do not have time to reach maturity due to the cold climate. Mosses, blueberry bushes, cloudberries grow in swampy areas, but forests in the tundra do not grow. Birds arrive in the tundra in summer. Foxes, arctic foxes, wolves, bighorn sheep, and brown hares live in harsh climates. These animals are protected from low temperatures by thick wool.
