Н2СО3 – carbonic acid. Formed by dissolving carbon monoxide (CO2) in water. This oxide belongs to acidic oxides, when dissolved, an acid is formed, this reaction is reversible:
CO2 + H2O = H2CO3
Mg (OH) 2 – magnesium hydroxide. Decomposes to magnesium oxide and water when heated.
Mg (OH) 2 = MgO + H2O
