For what purpose was the eternal peace concluded with Poland?

We are talking about the events of 1686, the eternal peace was signed against the backdrop of a successful war against Turkey (the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and Austria fought with it), one of its leaders was the Polish king.

Russia was interested in this alliance, since there was no point in fighting Poland again (Kiev, Smolensk and Left-Bank Ukraine were returned 20 years before it), and the Crimean Khanate greatly interfered with its raids.

The result of “eternal peace” was Golitsyn’s campaigns on the Crimea in 1687 and 1689, but they did not bring much success.
