Foreign policy of Atropatena.

Being a very far-sighted ruler, Antropaten tried to do everything to strengthen his state. At the beginning, dependent on the empire of Alexander the Great, and later after the collapse of the empire, a completely independent state was completely his merit. In foreign policy, he used negotiating tactics. To preserve the territory of the state, a peace treaty was concluded with Alexander the Great. And he married his daughter to Alexander’s closest associate – the head of the Macedonian cavalry Perdikkos.
