| 1. Find the area of the rectangle, for this we multiply the length by the width:
11 * 8 = 88 cm2.
2. Find the area of the square:
5 * 5 = 25 cm2.
3. Find the area of two squares:
25 * 2 = 50 cm2.
4. Find the area of the remaining figure, for this we subtract the area of two squares from the area of the rectangle:
88 – 50 = 38 cm2.
Answer: 38 cm2.
