From which countries did merchants come to Mesopotamia?

Mesopotamia in ancient times was the relative center of the civilized developed world. Merchants from all countries where at least something was produced in one way or another tried to get here. This is where the legend of the Tower of Babel originated. In particular, caravans came from Egypt and the Middle East (Phenicia, Judea, Syria), Asia Minor (Greek merchants from both Greece and local cities came from here). Nomads came from the south, from the north – from the Caucasus (in particular, from Urartu and future Colchis), from the east – Indian and Persian traders.
