Function of the mycelium and fruiting body.

The hat mushroom has a standard structure: mycelium and fruiting body. Mycelium, or another name – mycelium, is the lower part of the fungus, which is located in the earthen substrate. It plays the role of attachment and reproduction, the mushroom itself grows from it. It also stores nutrients. The fruiting body has a stem and a cap. It is the edible portion that is eaten. Spores form at the bottom of the cap. They spill out when ripe and can be spread by the wind or by the animals that eat them.
