Photosynthetic tissue is found in all green plants. It is necessary for photosynthesis. This process takes place thanks to chloroplasts, which are located in plant cells. The process itself is quite complicated. Its essence is that the plant absorbs sunlight, water and carbon dioxide, and releases oxygen and glucose. Plants need glucose for energy. Without photosynthesis, all green plants would cease to exist. In addition, it is through photosynthesis that plants get their green color.
