Functions of the palace and the treasury at the end of the 15th – at the beginning of the 16th century.

The palaces and the treasury were the central executive bodies. Their functions included supervision of general state affairs. They were also engaged in control over the implementation of national duties of the traction part of the population, and also supervised the activities of local authorities. They were in charge of the grand ducal and royal lands.
