Geographical location of ancient Persia.

From history we are well aware of such an ancient state as the Persian Empire, its main feature was its large size. So the borders of the Persian Empire in the years of its greatest power stretched from the Aegean Sea in the west to the Indus River in the east. Persia occupied the following territories: Egypt, Western Asia, the Middle East and the lands of Central Asia. The empire included many conquered states: Egypt, Media, Babylon, Lydia, Syria, Palestine, Phenicia, etc.
