Germanic and Slavic Tribes in Europe in the Middle Ages.

In the Middle Ages, or rather, in the 4-5th century, the ancient Slavs settled in the territory of Eastern Europe from the Vistula to the Don. The Slavs were divided into two large groups of tribes Anta and Veneda. There is a hypothesis that the Eastern tribes of the Vandals belong to the group of Slavic tribes of the Wends. Vandals in the 1st century BC descended from the northern regions of the Baltic to the Vistula, in the 2-3 century they were driven out of there by the Germanic tribes of the Goths. Then the Goths and Vandals inhabited the central parts of Europe. With the arrival of the Huns (4-5 centuries), the Goths, like the Vandals, migrated far to the west.
