Give 2-3 examples of hesitation from your life?

1. A classic example is a clock pendulum. At the same time, in order for the oscillations to continue (not extinguished under the influence of friction against the air), the mechanism of counterweights (clock weights) is used, which have to be periodically tightened (an alternative to the process of setting up a mechanical clock that does not use a pendulum mechanism).
2. After compression, the released spring oscillates for a while. Oscillations gradually fade away – since the energy imparted to the spring during compression is spent on resisting the frictional force.
3. The rubber ball, when hitting the floor, makes a series of jumps. These are also vibrations that fade if they are not resumed (for example, with new hits on the ball with the palm from above).
