Give an example of lowering the temperature of a liquid when it evaporates

Let’s recall what is called evaporation – this is vaporization from the surface of a liquid (the transition of a liquid from its surface to a vapor state). Evaporation occurs at different temperatures. At low – less intense, at high – more intense.

During evaporation, the fastest molecules are emitted from the surface of the liquid. And the molecules that remain in the liquid have less energy. Thus, their average energy decreases and the liquid cools.

The simplest example is the process when we blow on hot tea. Fast molecules evaporate from its surface and the tea cools down.
