Give examples of conditioned and unconditioned reflexes that we encounter in everyday life. Why are innate reflexes called unconditioned, and acquired – conditioned? Show examples of conditioned and unconditioned reflexes?

A reflex is an involuntary reaction of a living organism to external irritation. They are divided into unconditional (innate) and conditional (acquired).
In our daily life, we often encounter the manifestation of our reflexes, both conditioned and unconditioned. For example, say you touched something hot and immediately pulled your hand away. This is an example of an unconditioned reflex. Or you saw and smelled the smell of some tasty dish that you really like, you immediately begin to profuse salivation – this is a conditioned reflex.
Congenital reflexes are called unconditioned, because no conditions are required for them to appear in the body, they are given to it by nature. They are specific, that is, they are characteristic of all representatives of this species. They cannot stop firing during life.
Acquired reflexes are called conditioned, because some kind of irritation, a signal must be repeated several times in order to develop a reflex, it is not laid down by nature, they are individual. They can fade over time.
Unconditioned reflexes include: swallowing, coughing, sneezing, blinking.
Conditioned reflexes include: the cat’s reaction to a nickname, reading, cycling.
