Endocrine glands:

Pituitary gland – somatotropin – growth, the amount of phosphorus and calcium in the body;

Thyroid gland – thyroxine – energy exchange and growth of the body; regulation of reflexes;

Adrenal glands – aldosterone – the amount of water in the body;

adrenaline – metabolism; increases blood pressure;

Thymus – thymosin – control of immunity;
Mixed secretion glands:

Sexual – female – progesterone, testosterone – male – the work of the reproductive system;

Pancreas – Insulin – Control over blood glucose levels.
