Great British bourgeois revolution.

The bourgeois revolution in England began in the middle of the 17th century. Then the king sought to seize all power into his own hands. He wanted to establish an absolute monarchy and, on the other hand, sought to abolish parliament. The bourgeoisie and parliament hindered him in this. This confrontation grew into a real civil war that engulfed the entire country. Ultimately, the royalists, that is, those who supported the king, were defeated, and the king himself was executed. For several years, the parliament, led by Cromwell, suppressed uprisings in the country. After which the protectorate of Cromwell was established.
