Has the new wave of Stalinist repressions fulfilled its task?

It is difficult to give an unambiguous answer to this question. In 1948, it was decided what would happen in the future: “soft” or “hard”. If in 1945 Stalin was a figure, almost monolithically united, then people’s loyalty to the leader has now begun to decline. Confrontations began among the people against the Stalinist policy, although there was no open struggle, people were too afraid and not for themselves, but for their loved ones. From the summaries it was clear how the fermentation of minds began. After the start of the Cold War, Stalin gradually began to lose and surrender the position of the united and most important world leader.
