The lowest temperature in the world was recorded at Vostok station in 1983, -89.2 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature was recorded back in 1922 in Libya + 57.8 degrees Celsius. The highest altitude on our earth belongs to Mount Everest – 8848 meters. The smallest absolute height is the Mariana Trench with a depth of 11022 meters.
