How and what do crustaceans, arachnids and insects eat?

Crustaceans are aquatic arthropods. They feed on everything that comes across in the water – molluscs, dead animals and their remains, plants, as well as insect larvae.

Arachnids are terrestrial arthropods with 8 limbs. Due to the structure of their digestive system, they cannot eat solid food. They catch their prey, most often insects, and inject digestive juice into it. After a while, it liquefies the victim’s tissues and the arachnids suck them out.

Insects are omnivores and feed on almost everything: other insects and animals, plants, various waste, including human, and some even the blood of other living organisms.
