An earthquake is measured with special instruments called seismographs. They measure and immediately record the smallest vibrations of the Earth. The main task of the study is forecasting. It is possible to prevent such a phenomenon of nature in 10-20 minutes. The earthquake process is monitored and studied in order to warn the population about what is coming, hide in shelters or leave the territory, because an earthquake, depending on its power, entails devastating consequences, threatening people’s lives.
