How and why did the main directions of the USSR foreign policy change in the 30s?

In the 1930s, the Nazis came to power in Germany, led by Adolf Hitler. Prior to that, the government of the USSR was engaged in establishing diplomatic relations with other countries, seeking its recognition in the international arena. With Hitler’s coming to power, Germany began to violate the terms of the Versailles Peace, which led to the need to work on creating a collective security system in case of aggression from the Germans. For this, forces were directed, which later came in handy: Germany began World War II.
