How are animals different from other organisms?

Animals are multicellular organisms. Animals feed on other living organisms (including plants). Animals have the ability to move independently. Animals have senses through which they perceive light, heat, and so on. Usually, the reproduction of animals occurs with the participation of two sexes, and only some of their species, combining the properties of a male and a female, are able to reproduce independently.
