How are animals different from plants?

Animals differ from plants in many ways. First of all, this concerns the method of nutrition, since almost all plants are autotrophs (they themselves synthesize organic substances from chemical elements), and animals – heterotrophic organisms (feed on ready-made organic compounds). Also, most animals are characterized by the ability to move independently and make sounds, which plants cannot do and do not have special organs for these purposes that animals are endowed with.

Plants differ from animals in that plants do not have a mobile life, plants have chloroplasts with chlorophyll, plants are able to form organic matter from inorganic substances with the participation of light, the cell wall of plants consists of cellulose and growth.
