How are geysers used by humans?

The jets of heated and sometimes even hot and boiling water escaping from the ground are called geysers. This interesting natural phenomenon occurs in the USA, in Kamchatka. But these fountains are most popular in Iceland. In the thermal waters, special places have been created for swimming, as well as for the treatment of various diseases. In addition, geysers are used by the state for practical purposes – with the help of their hot waters, buildings are heated, and also, despite the harsh climate of Iceland, it became possible to create botanical gardens there, which also receive heat thanks to the geysers.
