How are igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic rocks formed?

Igneous rocks are rocks of volcanic origin formed from magma. When magma freezes underground, respectively, cooling is slow – they are called plutonic, and when they cool down much faster on the surface, they are called volcanic. There are also intermediate ones, they are called hypabyssal.
Sedimentary rocks originate on the surface of the earth under conditions of lower temperature and pressure as a result of changes in marine and continental sediments.
Metamorphic rocks originate in the layers of the earth’s crust as a result of the alteration of sedimentary or igneous rocks.
