How are people different from animals?

If we consider all living things that are not plants as animals, then man is an animal. But people are offended when they are called that, rightly believing that there are significant differences between other animals and humans. So how is man different from animals?
• first, humans have the highest brain-to-body weight ratio;
• secondly, we are bipedal, that is, we move on two limbs. Many animals can also learn this and sometimes even stand on their hind limbs, but this way of movement is not the main one for them;
• thirdly, humans differ from animals in their extremely developed hands and fingers. No trained monkey can thread a needle;
• fourthly, people have developed speech, with the help of which they describe the most complex concepts. Other animals also exchange information, but it seems primitive to people, although the life of, for example, ants is a very highly organized process;
• and, finally, fifthly, man differs from animals in his ability to think abstractly, that is, to think not only about what is relevant to his survival.
Thanks to abstract thinking, our civilization was created.
