How are rocks of different origins formed?

According to the origin, there are 3 types of rocks: igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary. Magmatic ones arise by the solidification of magma, flying out into the surface of the Earth during volcanic eruptions. The well-known granite belongs to igneous rocks. At first, metamorphic rocks were initially igneous or sedimentary, but in the bowels of the Earth they changed their qualities under the influence of pressure and significant temperatures. The metamorphic high rocks include marble, gneiss, and quartzite. Sedimentary high rocks arise as a result of subsidence and accumulation of sediments in the bottom of water bodies. Sedimentary rocks are divided into detrital (consisting of remnants of other rocks), chemical (arising from split mineral elements) and organic (from fragments of dead plants and animals). Sedimentary rocks include brown and stone coal, sand, oil, peat.
