How are science and education interconnected?

Science, as it were, grows out of education, this is a stage of development when the knowledge gained is no longer enough, when it is interesting to look for something that is not written in textbooks. If education is possible without curiosity, then science without curiosity is available only to officials. Education, in turn, feeds on science, gaining new knowledge discovered by science and adding it to its system. By the way, the best teachers come from real scientists who deeply understand their field of knowledge. And vice versa, if the teacher is not scientifically educated enough, then he will not be able to transfer knowledge.
