How are the problems of scientific and technological progress and global problems related?

First of all, scientific and technological progress negatively affects the environment and ecology – in the modern world this has reached a global scale. Industry, industry, chemistry are developing – huge factories produce decay products, wastes, harmful substances that do not have time to dispose of, and sometimes they do not know how to do it correctly, since something new has been invented and the processing process has not yet been established. Often this is simply impossible to avoid – for example, the appearance of cars contributes to environmental pollution.
