How are the properties of air masses and the Earth’s surface related? Give examples. Describe the properties of the air mass that is now outside the window.

Air masses are different. They can carry warmth, cold, dryness and moisture. They acquire their properties described above from the surface of the earth over which they are formed (for example, the masses that formed over the Indian Ocean later can bring warmth and rainy weather even in winter). In general, air masses are drier over land than over the sea.
For example, it is now cloudy, damp and cool outside my window, and most likely this means that the air currents have driven air masses from a damp and cool place, for example, from the northern seas or the Atlantic Ocean.
