How can the rapid destruction of desert rocks be explained?

The main two reasons, under the influence of which the rocks in deserts are rapidly destroyed, are huge temperature fluctuations between day and night time (the difference is about 40 °) and strong winds. During the day, the air temperature can rise above + 50 ° C, and at night it is only 10 ° C. Sometimes there is even a subzero temperature at night. With such vibrations, cracks are formed in the rock and it decomposes. The winds in the desert carry a huge amount of sand, which, when rubbed against hard rocks, erodes them.
