How can you explain the reasons for the spread in society of the ideas of utopian socialism?

The ideas of utopian socialism gained such popularity because they fully corresponded to people’s ideas about an ideal society. First of all, this theory assumed equality between all representatives of society, which oppressed groups of citizens dreamed of for many years. Also, utopian socialism offered a new approach to economics: the abolition of commodity-money relations, general prosperity and a high level of consciousness of each person. In a theoretical format, these ideas looked very attractive, but humanity did not manage to translate them into practice.
