How can you explain the split in the world after World War II? Why is international relations of the post-war period called the “cold war”?

The whole point is that even during the war, the West feared that after the defeat of Germany, Soviet troops would continue to move across Europe. We can say that they deliberately delayed the opening of the Second Front so that the USSR and Germany more exhausted each other.
