Products were produced much faster, their quality was higher than that of individual artisans, that is, labor productivity was much higher.

Due to the scale of production, the emergence of special instruments of labor and invested capital, the cost of producing a unit of goods (its cost) dropped sharply. This, naturally, led to lower prices for products and the ousting of competitors from the market.
