How did other members of medieval society treat the peasants?

In medieval society, peasants were considered the lowest level of society. Just as it was the time when there were feudal lords and people dependent on them, the peasants were not so much in slavery, but serfs of the feudal lord. They were treated as dependent people, a low-paid labor force, as well as poorly educated, dirty and impoverished members of society, whose rights were significantly disadvantaged compared to the nobles and other members of society at the time.
