How did the absolute monarchy develop in France?

The people began to be burdened by the willfulness of the nobles, they were ready to support the authorities, which could stop this arbitrariness.
In 1614 (under Louis 13), states-general were convened, to which the third estate set forth its demands for the abolition of the privileges of the nobility, for an equal distribution of taxes for all segments of the population. The nobility and clergy did not welcome these changes. The states were disbanded and there were no results. At the meeting of the states, a representative of the clergy and nobility of Richelieu spoke. A few years later, he became an adviser to Louis 13, ruled over France and had unlimited power. This is how an absolute monarchy appeared in France.
