How did the human races come about?

Races arose about 10-12 thousand years ago. People settled in all areas of the globe that were suitable for existence. As a result, there was an isolation from each other of quite numerous human communities, living for a long time in completely different climatic and natural conditions. The well-known laws of Darwinian evolution came into play. Considering that our ancestors were still at the primitive level of their development, natural selection was very important for them. Depending on the conditions in the population, more people survived, for example, those with narrower eyes or darker skin.
